PADI Scuba Diver
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you’re short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you particularly if you expect to go scuba diving primarily with a dive guide.
If you’re short on time than the PADI Scuba Diver course is just for you. In just two days you can gain a PADI license that’s recognized anywhere in the world, this certification allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 12mtr accompanied by a PADI professional.
On the first day we start at 9:00 am, you will start by watching a PADI Open Water DVD and then your instructor will take you through knowledge reviews with some quizzes to test you, then after lunch, it’s off to the pool. At the pool, your instructor will teach you how to set your equipment up and show you how it works. Then it’s in the pool where you will learn the proper way to breathe underwater and learn new skills underwater.
On the second day, it’s a nice early start at 7 am pickup then we drive to the pier. Once we broad the boat and it’s off to the dive sites. You’re PADI Instructor will ask you to set up your equipment and give you a briefing on your mission for the day. You will complete two dives with some skills you learnt in the swimming pool and exploring the underwater world. Your Instructor will also show you the many different fish the Gulf of Thailand has to offer.
We will provide all the basic scuba gear including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), dive gauges and tank.
To enrol in a PADI Scuba Diver course (or Junior Scuba Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required, but you can try it first through the Discover Scuba Diving program.
