U.S. Navy Divers Finish Draining Fuel Oil From WW2 German Shipwreck

U.S. Navy divers have completed the removal of fuel oil from the capsized World War II German cruiser Prinz Eugen in the Marshall Islands. The divers were attached to Mobile Diving Salvage Unit 1 aboard the USNS Salvor, and extracted approximately 250,000 gallons (946,353 liters) of fuel oil between September 1st and October 15th.
